Chad and I are trying to start some family traditions. It is really important to both of us. I remember so many fun times with my family around the holidays and I definitely want to build the same kind of memories with Clayton. Today, we drove to Marble Falls and visited Sweet Berry Farm. They grow pumpkins in the fall, and we had a great time searching for the perfect one. The farm also has a corn maze, pony and hay rides, pumpkin painting, face painting, and goats to enjoy. Many of the festivities will be more appropriate for Clayton next year. He just enjoyed touching all of the pumpkins. Below are some of our favorite pictures from the day.
After we got back, Clayton and I played on a blanket in the front yard while Chad finished some yard work. Then we helped Clayton paint his hands on his very first pumpkin. To end the day, Clayton tried "biter biscuits" and peaches. It has been a few months, but we decided to add story time back to our nightly routine. He was much more interested this time around! It was a wonderful fall day! Enjoy!
We're on our way...

Looks like fun. My favorite one is the sixth one down, I think. The one right below the caption, "pictures in the pumpkin patch."
No surprise, we love the pics. Clayton is the cutest baby ever.
